What Does IQAir Health Pro Plus 250 offer its users?
The HEPA filter which is most commonly used can collect over 99.7% of the particles in the air which are 0.3 microns or smaller. The problem with this is that over 90% of the contaminates in the air are smaller than 0.3 microns. That is why IQ Air has developed a HyperHEPA filter which is designed to capture particles as never before. A HyperHEPA filter will actively work to collect particles and other unwanted elements of the air that are as small as 0.003 microns. It will capture all of these elements with a 99.5% efficiency, making it the only certified filter designed to trap all elements this small. This includes everything from tiny dust particles to bacteria and other germs. A micro-particle filtration will work to eliminate the bigger elements found in the air, such as hair, normal dust, and pet dander. The larger elements are removed from the air in the first stage, setting the smaller particles up to be collected much easier later. A granular activated carbon adsorption technique is then used to help eliminate the unwanted odors you may have. The carbon in this feature will work to break down the organic compounds which are found in odor, helping to eliminate what you may be smelling. Finally, a pelletized chemisorption process is used to help destroy all of the harmful chemicals which may be present in the air. This works by using an oxidation process to remove the contaminates that you may be exposed to from these gases and other chemicals. Both this and the carbon adsorption are located within the V-Cell of the unit.
The pre-filter will traditionally need to be replaced every six to eighteen months. The V-Cell should be replaced between 1 and 2 years, while the HyperHEPA filter runs for about 2 to 4 years. The cost of replacing these filters will usually be more expensive than with other models. Unlike other models, however, they will need to be replaced much less often, balancing the cost out. A pre-filter will cost around $60, the V-Cell between $90 and $100, with a HyperHEPA filter costing about $190. Other than this, the outside of the air purifier should be dusted and wiped down often. This can help to keep the unit free and clear of any additional contamination, stopping it from clogging up.
The Healthpro 250 also comes with 5 years of protection. Should anything happen to the unit within that time frame, parts and labor will be covered under the warranty, allowing you to have a fully-functioning unit for that entire 5 year timespan.
If this air purifier is within anyone's price range, this is an exceptional model which will make the room more pure than any other type of air. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED       |
