Honeywell HHT-145 Air Purifier

I like the unit because it circulates air very quietly. The reason it was purchased is that it is includes a HEPA filter, which we need at home for those with allergies and asthma.

The unit has standard, HEPA, UtraViolet, and charcoal filtering, which can be used separately or together. This combination is very desirable in our home.

The unit is not the cheapest available, costing more than $150.00, but the filtering quality has made it worthwhile.

Allergies and asthma problems remain about the same even with this purifier, but we never expected total relief when we purchased the unit.

This purifier is most noticed when cooking occurs at home; the odors are absorbed immediately. As for as annual maintenance, the electrical cost are very minimal and the filters can be cleaned and reused.

The charcoal filter has been replaced once in two years, at a cost of less than $10.00. The UV lights, said to be the filtering part most needing replacement, is still the original, and works very well.

The air purifier has performed very well for more than 2 years. It runs very efficiently and quietly, and we have had no problems with the unit since we purchased it.

Overall, this is truly an item that has delivered on its capabilities. We have not owned any other type of air purifier before this one, and I think we will stay with what we know works reliably.
