Honeywell HHT-090 Air Purifier

My air purifier is made by Honeywell and is the model HHT-090. Personally, I love it. I move it from room to room occasionally and I believe it does make a positive difference in air quality. I actually even like the white noise it creates in my bedroom (helps me sleep).

It has three different settings, and only the highest setting is noisy, the others aren't any worse than your average fan. I'm lucky enough to not have any allergies, but I live with a smoker and hate the smell of smoke, and it seems to have helped with that. It's also great at getting dust out of the air, and it even picks up pet hair. It has an ionize feature that I don't use much though, it seems to make the air smell a bit strange.

Maintenence is a breeze, I just pop off a piece in the back and run the vacuum hose over the filters. I'm not sure how long I'm supposed to use the same filter, but it still looks pretty clean. I'd recommend getting one that doesn't require frequent filter changes because of the added costs and hassle.

This is the first air purifier I've owned and I've had it for about 6 months now. I'm definitely satisfied and consider it to be worth the cost. If you're considering purchasing an air purifier, whether it's just to help get dust out of the air, or to help with allergies, smells, or whatever else, go for it. It helps.
